Wood Carving Merit Badge Workshop
Want to know how to do more with your pocket knife than just cut string and whittle a stick? Join us to learn wood carving at the Wood Carving Merit Badge Workshop on 1/16 from 10am to 1pm at the Scout Service Center (24 Lynnwood Dr, Texarkana TX 75503).
Please bring a pocket knife with you.
All Scouts must be currently registered with the BSA to attend and must be a Scout BSA (5th grade or older). Registration for this workshop will close on 1/14 at 11pm.
As space is limited, and due to COVID-19, any adults who want to remain for the workshop are asked to register (they are free) and will form a separate cohort from the Scouts and remain socially distanced. Depending on sign up, it maybe necessary for adults to wait in the lobby, so we can ensure social distance is maintained. We ask that you remain separate from the cohort of Scouts, unless asked to assist by the instructor. Any Scouts who are not accompanied by an adult will need to bring a completed health form parts A and B, available at https://filestore.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/680-001_AB.pdf.
**Temperatures will be taken at check in and must be below 100.4°F for an individual to attend. Please do not attend if you have had exposure to or displayed COVID-19 symptoms in the last two weeks. Please consider not attending if someone in your household is considered to be in the high risk group for COVID 19 as defined by the CDC https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/people-at-higher-risk.html. All attendees must wear a mask. Please bring your own**”
