National Youth Leadership Training is an exciting, action packed program designed to provide youth members of Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scouts with leadership skills and experiences they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. Our mission and vision is to prepare young people to become the best leader that he or she can be. 

To be eligible to attend National Youth Leadership Training, you must:

1). Be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America, (Scouts BSA, Sea Scouts or Venturing)

2). Be age 13-17 for Scouts BSA and 14-20 for Ventures and Sea Scouts.

3). Be a First Class Scout or above or equivalent in Sea Scouts and Venturing. 
 

4). Have the approval of your parents and your unit leader. If your unit leader is your parent, a non-parent unit leader must approve.

Cost is $225.00. Please register and pay online. In addition, please complete the attached registration form, signed by your parent and unit leader (or alternate unit leader if the unit leader is the youth's parent), and submit to the Yucca Council office not later than May 21, 2021.

Those who register and pay in full by March 26, 2021 will receive a complimentary NYLT Memorable Package with photos and patch.

Deposit of $50.00 is due at registration. The balance is due not later than May 21, 2021. Registration closes on May 21, 2021.

Participants must provide a completed BSA Medical Form, parts A, B and C not later than the first day of the course.
