Thank you for registering your Scout for the 49th Annual Brownsea‑22 Adventure hosted at Gorham Scout Ranch! My name is Cliff Russell, and I’m thrilled to be serving as the Course Director for the 2026 Brownsea‑22 program. My staff and I can’t wait to kick off an incredible summer and work with this year’s group of motivated, high‑energy young Scouts.

This letter includes important information about preparing for camp, directions to Gorham Scout Ranch, arrival and departure times, and more. Please read it thoroughly and carefully to ensure everything is in order and there are no surprises when you arrive at camp.

Participants should plan to arrive at camp between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7th. Please do not arrive before 5:00 p.m., as staff will not be available at the check‑in area prior to that time.

Parents are encouraged to attend the final Brownsea‑22 troop assembly on Saturday, June 13th at 10:00 a.m. Once the assembly concludes—typically between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m.—the Brownsea troop will be dismissed, and all participants must depart from camp.

As some aspects of planning are still being finalized, I may need to send additional information before camp begins. Please keep an eye out for future communications and read them carefully, as they may contain important updates. I will do my best to provide any new details with enough time for you to prepare before heading to camp.
