A NRA Certified Range Safety Officer will be able to organize, conduct, and supervise safe shooting activities and range operations. A participant must be 21 years old or older, attend the entire course, participate in the discussions and practical exercises, and achieve a final exam score of 90% or higher. 

For all Troop and Crew shoots,  an NRA instructor AND a NRA RSO is required. If Troops and Crews have an RSO, the organizations will only be required to find an NRA instructor current in the firearm intended to shoot. 

There will be no firearms or ammunition in the class beyond those which the instructor will provide for demonstration. 

No meals will be served.
