Camporee - San Juan Mountains District

Welcome to the 2026 San Juan Mountains Area Spring Camporee! This year, the Spring Camporee will be
held at Navajo State Park - Tiffany Campground – Arboles, CO. Please read the instructions included in
this packet carefully before arriving, and make sure your Scouts are well prepared and well equipped to
participate in the Spring Camporee, and most of all, ready to have BIG FUN!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any member of the Spring Camporee
Staff for assistance prior to or at the event.

The Spring Camporee is a weekend spring campout that brings together Scouts from the entire San Juan
Mountains Area. This year, the theme is “Big Fun at the Scout Top”. It will include challenges and midway
games that encourage you to explore the zany side of Scouting, clown around with your fellow Scouts a bit,
and have a great time under the Big Top. These will test Scouts in their knowledge of Scout skills, while
providing a friendly competition. By combining the camping experience with the Scoutcraft competitions,
the Spring Camporee provides an opportunity for Scouts to experience new challenges while having a lot of
fun. Awards will be presented at the closing on Sunday. All troops and patrols are encouraged to
participate.
