New for 2025! This is specifically for new Scouts BSA youth who have just crossed over from a Pack. Experience a sample of a Scouts BSA summer camp program.

Event Details
- Check-in: Sunday, June 29 at 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m
- Check-out: Wednesday, July 2 by 9:00 a.m.
- Location: Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp, 11217 FM 2970, Athens, TX75751
- Registration Deadline: Sunday, June 22 at 11:00 p.m.
This is the deadline to register, update information, and complete payment. Late additions, substitutions, and walk-ins cannot be accommodated. - Cancellation Policy: View the Circle Ten Council Refund & Cancellation Policy HERE and under Attachments.
Registration Costs
- Scouts: $225 each
- Adults: $150 each
Registration Types
Registration is by unit or as Mavericks (lone Scouts) may attend.
- Unit Registration:
- This is for at least two Scouts and at least two adults who are currently registered with the unit as direct contact leaders.
- Maverick Scouts (lone Scouts):
- This is for Scouts not attending with their unit.
- Each Maverick Scout must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian. The parent/guardian must be a currently registered member of the troop.
Class Offerings
- Trail to First Class: rank advancement for Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class. This is designed for Scouts who have not reached the rank of First Class.
- Merit Badges: Art, Basketry, First Aid, Leatherwork, Sculpture, Swimming, Woodcarving

- LEGAL First and Last Name
You MUST provide the full legal name for adults to ensure their background check is not delayed. - Middle Name (adults - optional)
- Unit Type and Number
- Scout rank
- Scouting America Membership ID (youth and registered adult leaders)
- Youth Protection Training date taken (adults)
- Cell Phone Number & Email Address (adults)
- Date of birth (all)
- Gender (all)
- Parent Information (Youth)
- Emergency Contact Information (Adults)
- Dietary, Allergy, and Medical Concerns
- Agree to Background Check (adults)
Documents Required at Check-In
- Units: Official unit roster downloaded from my.scouting.org
- Individuals: copy of your Scouting America membership ID (HERE)
- Annual Medical Health Form AB (all participants)
- Adult In-Camp State Compliance Form (adults)
- Youth Protection Certificate (adults)
- Non-Circle Ten Council units: printed copy of your council's Certificate of Liability Insurance (obtain from your local council).
