Are you a water sports and watercraft fanatic?!  Are you always on the hunt for your next adrenaline rush?  If you can answer yes to either of those questions........then come join us on the crystal clear, calm, cool, collected waters of Possum Kingdom Lake at the 2024 AQUA ADVENTURES weekend!  At this weekend-long event, Troops, Crews, and Ships will experience thrilling water activities as well as a chance to test their skills at fun and exciting welding and shooting projects. Meals are included so no cooking is needed!

The weekend's theme is Hawaiian so come decked out in your best Hawaiian gear! 

Meals include Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus Sunday breakfast.

You may register as a unit (minimum two youth and two registered adult leaders) or individually (youth must be accompanied by a parent currently registered with the BSA)

Event Details: 

  • Check-in: Friday, August 23 at 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Activities start Saturday, August 24 at 9:00 a.m.
  • Check-out: Sunday, August 25 by 10:00 a.m.
  • Registration Closes: Sunday, August 18 at 11:00 p.m.
    This is the last day to register, update participant information, and complete payment. Late additions/substitutions or walk-ins will not be accommodated.

Cost of this event:

  • Scouts and Participating Adults: $60 each
  • Non-Participating Adult: $50 each
    This is for adults attending with their youth but not participating in any activities.
  • Cancellations: All Cancellations must follow the Cancellation & Refund Policy (see Attachments).

Required Information:

The following information will be requested during registration:

  • First and last name
  • Gender
  • Allergy, medical concerns, and/or dietary restrictions 
  • Cell phone and email address (adults only)
  • Emergency contact name, cell number, email, and relationship to the attendee
  • Payment in full for each person listed on the registration 

Documents Required at Check-In:

  • Annual Medical Health Record AB  (HERE)
  • Unit Registrations: Roster (must be downloaded from my.scouting.org showing current membership for all attendees and YPT for adults)
  • Individual Registrations: copy of current BSA Membership ID (downloaded from my.scouting.org)
  • Swim Classifications (if current) 

Additional Details: 

  • Rotation schedules will be sent out one week before the event.
  • Campsite assignments will be sent out one week before the event .
  • Once on camp, everyone will be given a color wristband identifying their rotation assignment.
