Rifle Fun Shoot

Who: All Scouts BSA Youth
Cost: $10/Scout

The Rifle Fun Shoot Day is a Palmetto Council event, intended to give shooters a chance to improve their skill sand have fund. This event will be from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm on Saturday, October 21st at the Charlotte Pistol and Rifle Club. Each session will be 1 1/2 hours long and will be limited to 8 scouts/session. Each session will offer a 30 minute safety briefing followed by 1 hour of shooting time. We will be shooting with bolt-action, single-shot .22 rifles. A total of 40 scouts can sign up for this event. Cost is $10 per Scout. Scouts should dress appropriately for the weather, bring a bagged lunch or snack and a filled water bottle. They may also bring their own eye and hearing protection, if they have it.
**PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A MERIT BADGE CLASS** The Rifle merit badge will not be earned, nor is it required to participate.
