Cub Scout Rangemaster Training

Registered Cub Scout leaders who want to give their Cub Scouts great experiences in Range and Target Activities such as BB guns, archery and slingshots should sign up for Cub Scout Rangemaster Training, set for Saturday, August 29, at Camp Conley Clarke, 1192 Hickory Grove Road, Gaffney.

This training is for all registered leaders, 18 years old and over, who want to help deliver these popular programs at district and council events. The training will begin at 9 a.m. and continue through 3 p.m. It includes classroom instruction and hands on range training, to include Scouting America policies, range set up, safely running the range, breaking down the range and storing equipment. Certification for Archery and BB Gun Rangemaster is good for two years.
