Sharpen up your training skills for the 2026 Scouting year! This course is required for Wood Badge/ NYLT staff and is optional for anyone interested in learning how to be a better presenter and trainer for their units, district, or council.

Date: January 31, 2026

Location: Flag Plaza, 2nd floor
Uniform:  Field Uniform (also referred to as Class A)
Precourse Preparation: Please prepare a 10 to 12minute presentation on a topic from any BSA
material. Your presentation should allow you to demonstrate the skills of a trainer. You will receive
constructive feedback on your presentation from the other participants.  You may bring visual aides if you desire.

Lunch:  Please Bring your own bagged lunch. 

If we finish with any module early, we will keep moving forward in an effort to end the training earlier.
