Cascade Chronicles - Throne Quest

Event Details

Does your guild have what it takes to rule the kingdom?

An ancient prophecy has foretold a new heir to the throne of Jeffersonia. The king is holding a one-week contest for each guild to prove its value as the future leader of the kingdom. As guilds compete and quest, they will earn the king’s favor, and by the end of the week, a new heir will be crowned.

Will it be you?

Cascade Chronicles - Throne Quest

A Weeklong Adventure in Gaming, Roleplay, and Epic Quests

Calling all fans of tabletop games, roleplaying adventures, trading card games, and miniature battles!
Cascade Chronicles: Throne Quest is a unique summer camp experience for Scouts age 13+ who love immersive stories, strategy games, and exploring gaming culture.

Board Games | Escape Rooms| RPGs (like D&D & Pathfinder) | TCGs (Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!) | Miniatures (Warhammer 40K) | And More!

Held at Camp Pioneer, this program runs Monday through Friday. Scouts can attend individually (adult leadership provided by the camp) or as part of a Troop with their own leaders.

What to Expect

Your time will be split between tabletop gaming—including tournaments and special events like Blood on the Clocktower—and live-action outdoor quests based on an original fantasy storyline.

Scouts are sorted into Guilds based on their interests (e.g., pirates, mages, adventurers). Guilds set the tone for your week of activities—ranging from escape room-style puzzles to treasure hunts and boat battles.

Throne Quest Storyline

A royal prophecy has declared the King must abdicate his throne to a worthy Guild. Throughout the week, Guilds will complete challenges to prove themselves.

  • Thursday Night: The Abdication Celebration where the King announces the chosen Guild.
  • Friday Morning: A final Royal Banquet crowns the victors at the King’s table.

Who Can Attend?

  • Youth: Registered Scouting youth members age 13 or over
  • Adults: All overnight adults must be a registered Scouting member
  • Open to individual Scouts or full Troops
