We are pleased to announce that John Kuehn, National BSA CRM Application Specialist, will be conducting in-person beginner (101) and intermediate (201) Blackbaud courses at the Indian Nations Council office in Tulsa, Oklahoma Tuesday, January 28 – Friday, January 31st.  Be sure to register early, registration is limited to provide more individual attention!

Who should attend:  FOS Clerks, Development support personnel, Development Directors to Directors of Development.

Blackbaud 101 – Begins at 8:30AM on Tuesday, January 28th and will conclude at 11AM on Wednesday, January 29th

This two day of training is for new users of the Blackbaud CRM and new to Revenue Data Entry. Understanding the creation of four Constituent types in CRM; how to use and maintain them is the backbone of the data. To enhance your success in CRM, we will be diving into each CRM functional area. Topic to cover – CRM Navigation, CRM Personalization, Constituent Management, Simple Reports and Data List, Revenue Entry (how it works and what drives it to the correct PeopleSoft Account).

Blackbaud 201 – Begins at 1PM on Wednesday, January 29th and will conclude by Noon on Friday, January 31st.

Discover the higher functions of CRM. We will cover some of the basics and then jump into Constituencies, Prospect Management, Gift Plans (Moves Management), Planned Giving, Reports Vs. Queries, Creating simple queries, Prospect list and Donor Research. The information that you place in CRM today benefits you and your fellow colleagues now and for the future. In the two days of training there will be hands-on exercises and opportunity for you to ask questions. 

All participants will need to bring a laptop.

Each course is $150 but there is a $50 discount if you register for both courses.  Lunches will be provided Tuesday through Thursday.  Councils are responsible for all other meals, hotel and travel.

Hotel Indigo Tulsa Downtown – It’s a little more, downtown, 14 minutes from the office but puts you in the middle of the Blue Dome District surrounded by great restaurants and bars

The Mayo Hotel – You may be familiar with this historic hotel if you watched the TV series “Tulsa King”.  It too is downtown and 6-8 blocks from the Blue Dome District

Registration: https://scoutingevent.com/488-92026 to Register   If you miss the cutoff, please leave your name on the wait list.  This will help national determine need for additional training opportunities and provide a list of those that want them.

 

Refund Policy:  100% refund will be given if individual cancellation is received at least 30 days or more prior to class start.  No refund given if cancellation is received within 30 days of class start.
