Dripping Springs Scout Camp

Come join us for an evening of family camping and activities and Saturday of fun!!

$15.00 Per participant  $15.00  Per Parent $ 10.00 Siblings not participating 5 and under FREE!

Arrive and Set up- 5 pm to 7 pm, Friday evening we will visit multiple campfires and hear stories, maybe sing songs, possibly even have a tasty treat.  Night hiking will be involved so don’t forget your glowstick.  Saturday morning breakfast will be served.  Scouts will Shoot BB guns and Bow & Arrows. Hot Dogs and Chips for lunch, Water and Bug Juice (kool-aide) will be provided.  If you wish to fish, bring your poles and bait.  Parents please note you are responsible for your children.  Camping can be a great experience, but keep in mind there are areas that can be unsafe for children when they are unsupervised.

Fall can be cool at night so be prepared!!!!  Remember a rain resistant coat or jacket and warm clothes.  Absolutely no open-toed shoes will be permitted.  Many of the trees at Dripping Springs have thorns so watch the trees and the ground.

Everyone must complete a current Health form (parts A&B) and have completed YPT to attend event. Remember all adults must have Youth Protection Training to attend the event! This training can be taken online at MyScouting.org. 

All families must depart by 2 pm on Saturday.

Don't forget to bring these things:

Water Bottle to drink from and leave soda at home. Tent, Rain-fly, tent stakes, and a ground cloth or tarp, Sleeping Bag & Pillow, Flashlight (extra batteries) & Glowstick for Kids, Chairs to sit in at your campsite, 1 change of clothes, Tooth brush & tooth paste, Poncho (if expecting rain) First Aid Kit, Jacket, Sun-Screen, Bring your uniform for our Saturday morning flag ceremony.
