2026 First Aid Invitational - Fairfield Medical Center River Valley Campus

2026 First Aid Invitational at Fairfield Medical Center River Valley Campus
The First Aid Invitational is a hands-on, skill-based event designed to challenge Scouts’ knowledge, teamwork, and preparedness in real-world emergency situations. Held at Fairfield Medical Center River Valley Campus, patrols rotate through a series of timed stations covering essential first aid topics such as CPR/AED use, bleeding control, fractures, environmental injuries, and medical emergencies. Scouts will demonstrate practical skills, problem-solving, and leadership while working with limited supplies in realistic scenarios. The day also features an Air Evac demonstration, a patrol first aid kit evaluation, and a high-energy stretcher race, concluding with awards and event patches to recognize participation and achievement. All adult attendees are required to complete Safeguarding Youth Training prior to attending the event. Participating youth should bring their blue cards if completing the requirements for the First Aid Merit Badge.
Food will not be provided at the event. Troops should bring their own lunches and a cooler to store any items that they may need it. Please see the provided schedule and supplies list for further details on what to expect and bring.
