Come join Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts from across Lake Erie Council as they get ready to become Scouts. Webelos attending Webelos Woods Winter Treasure Hunt will work towards finding the treasure while completing tasks from various adventures for the Webelos and Arrow of Light. They will get the chance to meet troops from around the area to find the best fit as they cross over to become Scouts. Bring your tent–we're sleeping under the stars!
Campsites are included in the cost of the event. However, If your Pack wants to have a cabin, you can make a cabin reservation. However, event reservation here is still required.

- Fire Building
- Cast Iron Cooking Challenge
- Fitness/Obstacle Cource
- Knots (bowline, square knot, two half hitches, and a taut-line hitch, ect.)
- First Aid Relay
- Nature Identification Games (Animals & Plants)
- Shelter Building
- BB Gun Shooting

Early Bird Price (ends one month before the event)

Regular Price
- Youth: $35

Late Price (starts two weeks before the event)

Registration closes at midnight the Monday before the event.

You can buy and bring your own food to camp with you.
Food Plan (Additional Cost) -
Cost: $20.00 per person
Meals Included: Saturday Lunch & Dinner and Sunday Breakfast (Continental)
Safety Precautions
- Event capacity is limited to ensure proper distancing during events.
- All participant must wear a face covering when inside and when in close proximity to people outside their household.
- Event staff will also wear face coverings for the duration of the event.
- All participants must provide a 14-day Temperature & Prescreening Questionnaire and have their temperature recorded upon arrival.
- Vehicles with a participant with a temperature above 100.3 degrees will be sent home.
- Activities will be scheduled in a rotation for cohorts with a maximum of 10 people.
- Materials and common areas will be sanitized between groups.
- Bathrooms will be sanitized regularly.
What Do I Bring?
- BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A & B)
- 14-day Temperature & Prescreening Questionnaire
- Tent with ground sheet - 1 Tent per Scout unless from the same family.
- Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc.)
- Towel and Wash cloth
- Bedding (sleeping bag, pillow)
- Two changes of clothes appropriate for the weather
- Waterproof boots
- Extra shoes
- Extra socks
- Flashlight
- Pocket Knife (with current whittling chip)
- Plastic bag for wet or dirty clothes
- If you are cooking your own food, you will need to bring cooking materials.
- Safety Glasses (They are included with your registration or you can bring your own to recieve a $1 discount.)
- Sock (cut off toes - to use for arm guard at Archery)
Information for Troops
We are looking for troops that are excited to engage Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts on their journey to becoming a Scout. Troops will camp outside and be provided the same meals as the participants. Troops will facilitate the different stations that make up the Treasure Hunt. There will be a variety of elements (skills) that the Webelos/AOLS will need to complete in order to find the treasure. If you are interested in helping, please register using the same link as the event registration.
