2026 Scouting For Food

Help other people at all times. It’s not enough to recite those words from the Scout Oath. We are called to put them into action. In that spirit, the Dan Beard Council is one again partnering with the Freestore Foodbank and Kroger to go Scouting for Food! This Council-wide service project collects food for those in need across the Dan Beard Council service area. Scouting for Food 2026 will be Saturday, April 25th, with flyer distribution the preceding weekend. Units can collect in their neighborhoods or work with the Scouting for Food committee to sign up for a Kroger location.
