Ad Altare Dei Religious Emblem Program

Event Details

Ad Altare Dei Religious Emblem Program

Grow in Faith Through Scouting

The Ad Altare Dei religious emblem invites Catholic Scouts to discover how their faith and Scouting journey strengthen one another.

Through prayer, Scripture, service, discussion, and fellowship, participants explore the Seven Sacraments and learn how the Scout Oath and Scout Law can guide them in living as faithful disciples of Christ.

Meetings & Location

The Ad Altare Dei program meets weekly on Sunday afternoons from August 30 through November 15 (full schedule in attachments).  There will be no meeting on Labor Day weekend. Between meetings, Scouts will complete brief reading, prayer, reflection, and workbook activities to continue their faith journey. Participants only need to register for the first day, the rest of the days are listed for your reference only. They will need to attend all of the classes, or work with their counselors to make up the work, in order to successfully complete this religious emblem.
