2025 Scouts BSA Summer Camp

Nestled in the heart of the Paul Bunyan State Forest in Central Minnesota, we are a premier 2,400 acre Scouts BSA camp.  The camp is nationally recognized and fully accredited by the BSA.  Our programs have been featured in both Boys Life and Scouting Magazines.  In operation since 1945, this beautiful camp has met the needs of Scouts and leaders for over 70 years.  We look forward to welcoming you and your troop to Camp Wilderness!

The 2025 Scouts BSA Summer Camp at Camp Wilderness is set to be an unforgettable experience! With five exciting weeks of adventure from June 15th to July 19th, Scouts will have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of activities, earn merit badges, and create lasting memories in the great outdoors.

Camp Dates:

• Week 1: June 15-21
• Week 2: June 22-28
• Week 3: June 29-July 5
• Week 4: July 6-12
• Week 5: July 13-19

Activities Include:

Merit Badges: From environmental science to swimming, Scouts can choose from a broad range of merit badge opportunities.

ATV Riding: Feel the thrill of navigating the trails and learning responsible ATV operation.

COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience): Develop teamwork, problem-solving skills, and personal strength in our ropes course and challenge activities.

Climbing: Whether you're a beginner or experienced climber, the camp offers safe and exciting climbing experiences.

Shooting Sports: Try your hand at archery, rifle shooting, and shotgun shooting under the guidance of certified instructors.

Troop Activities: Engage in team-building games and exciting troop challenges.

Swimming & Boating: Cool off in the lake, improve your swimming skills, or paddle around in kayaks and canoes.

Fishing: Cast your line in pristine waters and try to catch the big one!

New for 2025: Wednesday Adventure Day

A special mid-week excursion! Scouts will embark on an exciting tour of the Soudan Mine, located near Lake Vermilion. Explore the depths of this historic iron ore mine and learn about its history and the mining process—an experience that’s both educational and adventurous.

Camp Wilderness provides the perfect setting for Scouts to grow in their leadership, outdoor skills, and teamwork, all while having fun.
