University of Scouting is Occoneechee Council’s annual training event that provides a day of fun and learning with the Scouting community in Occoneechee Council.
You have access to 70 courses across essential topics like Activities & Adventures, Leadership, Special Needs Scouting and more!

This is the 20th anniversary of University of Scouting in Occoneechee Council, and this year we’re doing things a bit differently.
We’ve got new courses, new instructors, and we’re changing how our courses are arranged to focus on what you can learn.

University of Scouting is open to anyone in the Scouting community, including adult leaders and parents who just want to know more.
Classes are intended for adults or Scouts BSA level youth where indicated.

For cub-aged scouts, we have our new Cub Camp Snoopy program, but youth need to be actively registered with a Scouting unit.

This is one of the first events to use the new council system for event registration.

Registration will be open September 1, 2024 @ midnight until October 27, 2024 @ 11:59pm.

Walk-in registrants are still allowed the day of the event, but lunch will not be provided for walk-in attendees.
