Section G13E Conclave

Get ready to join us for a spooky adventure at “Halloween-clave” where there are many strange and bizarre happenings in the mountains of madness. Come explore the “Haunted Cabin”

Conclave will be held Friday, April 4th to Sunday, April 6th at the Mountain View Christian Camp near Ruidoso, New Mexico. On-site check-in begins Friday evening at 7:00 pm.

Conclave will include a vast array of fun games, activities, presentations, and workshops! Activities and Competitions to include, but not limited to: a Cursed Carnival, costume contest, foosball table, basketball, Witchy Pinata, pumpkin carving, patch trading, and more weird and haunting adventures.

Prepare for the live auction with chilling deals that are too unbelievable to comprehend. Those who bring their mesmerizing and alluring auction items to add to our menagerie of the macabre may be able to receive a special patch dependent on value.

Conclave registration includes a trip to the “Ghoulish Cafe” for a Welcome snack Friday night, 3 meals Saturday, 1 meal Sunday, a Ghostly and horror-ific celebration Saturday night, a participant patch, a space to tent and lots of fellowship. Those tenting will need to bring their own tent and gear. There is an opportunity to upgrade to “Roofed (indoor) Housing” Details can be found below and in the “Additional Information” section of this registration page.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

First Year Arrowmen: That have been in OA for less than one year (as of the date of this Conclave) will receive a special conclave patch and attend a lunch with the Section Officers and other dignitaries where they will share some of their knowledge of the arcane mysteries of the OA. You must be within the first 15 to register as a First Year Arrowman to receive the special patch.

Upgrade to Indoor Housing: Upgrade to Indoor Housing: Price of the rooms is for the weekend. Economy Bunkhouse accommodations are shared rooms that will be divided by gender (Male / Female) and age (under 18 / 18 and over). When choosing a Premium Upgrade in a Motel Room or Cabin Bedroom, ONE person will pay. They in turn can recruit roommates and make their own arrangements for sharing the cost. This is a great way to get a room on a budget. Married couples and families may share a room. Otherwise YPT must be followed when having roommates. Bedding is provided in the motel rooms. You must provide your own bedding in the bunkhouses and cabin bedrooms. RV Spaces: There are spaces with 50-amp and 30-amp outlets. There are no grey or black water outputs.

Purchase New Merchandise: Brand New Halloween-clave Full Pocket Patch Sets! Customized nametags, new    patch, bears, bucket hats, section polo shirts, one-of-a-kind conclave t-shirts and patches, onsite at the Creepy Trading Post or reserve selected items during registration. Not attending in person. You can still order selected items through the registration page. You must make arrangements for your order to be picked up by someone attending. Medical Forms: All attending must bring a completed Scouting America A/B medical form. This form must be signed within a year of the event and printed to be turned into the medical staff. Those under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the form. Fillable forms can be found in the attachment section of the registration page.

Donate to the Officers Fund: Donations to the Officers Fund help to defray costs for officers to attend the Region Section Officer Seminar and National Planning Meeting. Section Officers need to attend these events for the betterment of our Section, Lodges, and the National organization as a whole. Donations will also help defray the cost of a dress uniform for the three Section Officers.
