Registration Tips:

  • Use the login - Youth must be entered by their registered name for advancement sync to work. For example a youth that is registered as Katie and goes by Kate, must be registered as Katie. Using login and then autofill does this for you.
  • Have Scouting America member ID's ready if you are not using Login and autofill. This lets us sync advancement regardless of Council.
  • If applying for a campership (in-Council only), the name and unit on the registration MUST match what is put on the campership application.
  • When entering adults you must attach a copy of their Safeguarding Youth Certificate. This can be provided by the leader or found in my.Scouting.org under Training manager.

Provisional Reservations – Scouts Not attending camp with Unit
Scouts who wish to attend camp without their unit are usually paired with another Troop in camp. Scouts who attend camp provisionally should pay their camp fees individually online or through the Service Center using the Provisional Scout Camp Registration. Provisional campers pay the same fees under the same timeline as those attending with their Troop.

Additional Week of Camp:

Additional week applies for those who are already attending a camp in the Great Falls Council. You must have already registered for the first week. You must attend the first week or your fees will be adjusted to appropriate pricing.

Camperships can be applied for during the registration process. It is strongly recommended that Unit Leaders enable parent portal. When this is done you will have log-in information cards to print and give to your parents. They can then log in and access their Scouts registration, fill out forms and make payments. Camperships are due by March 15th.

Required Unit Leadership
Units must maintain the minimum two-deep leadership at all times. Each unit must have a minimum number of adults in camp at all times, two of whom must be over 21 (others must be 18 years of age or older). If a Troop has female Scouts camping, one of the adults must be a female registered leader camping. Anyone staying overnight in camp must provide a completed medical form to the Camp Medical Officer.
