Sea Scout Ships, mark your calendars! The University of Sea Scouting returns this spring for an exciting and informative weekend at historic Fort Schuyler, hosted by Patriots’ Path Council in partnership with Liberty Nautical Education Center.

This two-day event will feature intensive training sessions, workshops, and hands-on activities designed to enhance your seamanship, leadership, and maritime knowledge. Classes will be offered on a wide range of topics including safety at sea, navigation, emergency preparedness, seamanship skills, and leadership development — all essential for successful Sea Scout advancement and practical boating experience.

Participants must be registered members of Scouting America.

Day participation and overnight accommodations are available; more information regarding logistics and specific course offerings will be provided in the Boarding Manual.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced maritime professionals, network with other Sea Scout Ships, and hone skills that are critical for success on the water.

Due to mandatory registry check by the State of New Yourk, NAMES AND BIRTHDATES OF ALL PARTICPANTS OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE MUST BE PROVIDED. WE ALSO NEED A HEADSHOT FOR YOUR ID BADGE.
