The Fishawack District’s Annual Scouts BSA Klondike Derby.
Scout Patrols will drag or push Klondike sleds over a predetermined route, testing their Scouting knowledge, skills, teamwork, physical endurance, and mental ingenuity.

Where:
Camp Somers at Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation - 750 Waterloo Road, Stanhope.

When:
Saturday, February 1st, 2025.

Registration dates:
Units must register from December 2nd – January 24th.
Scouts registered after January 24th will cost $35 each.

Cost:
$25 per Scout. There is a 2-adult minimum per troop at no charge. All other adults staying with a Troop overnight, must register and pay $25. Only registered adults may camp overnight.

LATE REGISTRATIONS AND WALK-INS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM TROOPS THAT HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED BY JANUARY 24th.

NO OTHER LATE REGISTRATIONS OR WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Check in on February 1, 2025 starts at 7:45 am. (bring two copies of your roster to check in). 

Opening ceremony is at 8:45 am. 

Competition Closes at 3:30 pm.

Awards will be announced at 4:30 pm.

This is a day event, but cabins and campsites are available for troop camping. To make a reservation contact Klondike Governor, Gary Treubig, gtbsa@optonline.net, by January 4, 2025. 

Each Troop must register 2 adult leaders.  Additional leaders are encouraged to attend.
Adults must not follow sleds.

Junior Scouts may not have reached their 14th birthday AND have not yet reached Star Rank.

Senior Scouts may not have reached their 18th birthday.

There is a separate category for Venture Crews (ages 14 to 20).

Sleds are mandatory. 

A CampDoc Profile MUST be completed for every attendee you are registering.
