Scout Saturday Merit Badge College

Mid-America Council
Scout Saturday
Welcome to Scout Saturday! A $10 registration allows a scout to take one class in the morning and one in the afternoon. A catered boxed lunch including deluxe sandwich, chips, fruit, and a cookie is available for an additional $10 meal ticket. Beginning the registration process will allow for class selection. Class sizes are limited, so do not delay.
Scout Satuday is taking place at Mammel Hall on UNO's Scott Campus. Free parking is available in lot 5. See the Scott Campus Map in the event attachments on the right side of your screen for more information.
Check in will begin at 7:30. The first class period will run from 8:30-12:00. Lunch will go from 12:00 – 12:45. The Camp Cedars team will be conducting open interviews during lunch. The second class will run from 12:45 – 4:15. There is a possibility that afternoon classes will end early – phones will be available for Scouts to call for early pick up if necessary.
To ensure a positive learning environment, all Scouts should be on their best behavior. Scouts who are disruptive in class or during lunch may be asked to leave. It is important that all Scouts follow the Scout Law at all times and treat their instructors, peers, and the facilities with respect. Scouts who are not actively engaged in class (goofing around in the hallways, listening to music, playing on their phones) may not receive signatures for all requirements.
Field or Activity (Class A or B) uniforms are preferred. All clothing should be appropriate for Scouting Activities.
Merit badge completion certificates will be available through the registration software no more than one week after the event closes. See the attached instructions for access.
To be successful at this event, Scouts need only do their best.
