Explorer students are given the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities focused on firefighting/EMT. Training in areas such as CPR/AED, fire extinguishers, ropes and knots, hose rolls, search and rescue, ladders, hazmat awareness and ventilation will be covered.

When registering for this program there will be two different dates and times available. An informational meeting will be held at the Omaha Fire Department Training center located at 11616 Rainwood Rd on September 8th from 8 am to 12 pm.

KICK OFF - September 8, 2018 (8:00 am to 12:00 pm)

WHEN
The remaining sessions after the kick-off will take place every Saturday starting September 8th until November 10th. Each session will begin at 8 AM until Noon. Locations vary depending on the week. Schedule will be sent out prior to the start date.
