Klondike Derby

Escape from Antarctica - your patrol is on a high adventure expedition to explore Antarctica. The elements are challenging but your scout training has made your expedition successful, until now. Unseen forces are working against you, and there seems to be more out there than just the ice and cold.....After a storm has left your encampment badly damaged, you must now try to escape. 

We are excited to invite you to Klondike DerbyJanuary 24th 2026 at Nebraska Youth Camp to put your scouting skills to the test. More specific information to come soon. Don't forget that incoming AOLs are welcome to join in as well either as a part of a patrol or as a patrol of their own.

All adults camping with a Troop MUST be a registered adult with the Troop they are camping with.  

AOL's need to have 2 deep leadership from their unit to camp.

Cost:  

• Scouts - $30($20 if paid by January 5)
• Adults - $15 ($10 if paid by January 5)
• Optional Friday Night Camping - $5 per person
• Includes:  activities and event patch
