2025 Trades Day Merit Badge Event!
Saturday, August 23rd, Rhodes France Scout Reservation

All Scouts BSA Scouts are invited to take part in the 12th Annual Trades Day at Rhodes France Scout Reservation.  This is a unique experience for Scouts to learn valuable skills related to various skilled trades and possible career opportunities all while earning a merit badge.  Scouts will work on one merit badge for the day.  These courses will be in-depth and very hands-on and include some off-site trips to local businesses.

Check-in will begin at 8:30 am on Saturday, August 23rd with the merit badge sessions beginning at 9:00 am.  Lunch will be provided.  Scouts should have and have read their merit badge pamphlet.  This will be a one day event concluding about 4:00 pm.

It is important that each Scout read through the merit badge pamphlet prior to the event.  Scouts must arrive at camp with pre-requisites completed.  Many of the merit badges require long pants and sturdy shoes to complete the tasks safely.
