STEM on CAMPus EIU 2025

STEM on CAMPus Eastern Illinois University
June 8-10 2025
Eastern Illinois University-Powell Norton Hall 
SCOUTS BSA, ADULT LEADER and STAFF REGISTRATION.

***All Scouts will share a bunk style dormitory bedroom - 2-3 per room / no more than 2 year in age difference. Community restroom has single private bathroom/shower accommodations.  Adults will have a dorm room to themselves*** 

Check-in for the camp participants will be Sunday, June 8th at 1 p.m. and check-out will be Tuesday, June 10th at 5 p.m. There will be 5 program sessions to work on merit badges or NOVA awards. Extracurricular fun will happen each evening – Bowling, team building games, pool, rec center, esports, etc. Campus dorm living for 2 cool nights and 6 great meals.   

$135 per Scout / $75 per adult leader.  Scouts can come with their Troop or be a part of a provisional one.   Registration will be open until 2 weeks before camp starts.  There is no discount rate for this special camp.    

Adult registration roles defined:  
Adult Staff = Instructors/staff that are not staying overnight at camp
Adult Leader = Adults who are staying overnight and serving as provisional leaders or supervisors for the Scouts
Adult Free Participant = Adults Leaders who signed up 5 or more Scouts and will serve as provisional leaders 

University faculty and staff will be present to help facilitate the activities associated with STEM Merit Badges and Nova Awards. Our camp goal is to match volunteers with their area of interest and expertise to provide these potential badge offerings:

Once registered and classes are chosen, those badge/NOVA assignments are locked in. Review prereqs in the document available in the attachments box on this page. We encourage Scouts to work on their NOVA awards.
