Event Description
Join us for a full-day, hands-on American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED certification course. This training provides essential life-saving skills designed for anyone with little or no medical background who wants to be prepared in an emergency.
Participants will learn:
- First Aid basics
- Adult and child CPR techniques
- Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- How to recognize and respond to common medical emergencies
This course meets official AHA certification standards. All instruction and materials are provided at no cost to Scouts and Scouters.
Important Notes
- Participants must be 14+ at the start of the course.
- Please bring a water bottle and lunch.
- Class size is limited to 60, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
- Attendance for the full duration is required to receive certification.
