BSA Leave No Trace 101 & Outdoor Ethics Guide Orientation

Event Details

This course will introduce you to BSA Outdoor Ethics including Leave No Trace, Tread Lightly, the Outdoor Code and The Land Ethic. The course will review the BSA Outdoor Ethics awards including the Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award and Action Award. The BSA Leave No Trace- Trainer and Master Educator course will be explained and discussed.

Upon completion you will receive a BSA Outdoor Ethics/LNT Awareness certificate and will be qualified to lead portions of the BSA Outdoor Ethics Awareness Awards (Boy Scout, Varsity and Venture).  Boy Scouts will have to skills to hold the Outdoor Ethics Guide position in a Troop.

 

Who can attend –

Scouts 11 to 18 (with Adult Leadership)

Scouters of any age

Cost-

$5 per person
