DEN CHIEF TRAINING

This training will cover:

Youth Troop/Crew Members wanting to serve as Den Chiefs
Den Leaders from Packs to learn HOW to use Den Chiefs
Troop Adult Leaders who will guide/support Den Chiefs

Den Leaders: Sign up with your Den Chiefs
Scoutmasters: Sign up for your future prospects. 

We welcome all Scouts interesting in growing and becoming a Den Chief, but remember that a Scout must be mature enough to handle the position. 

Although the conference is designed primarily to explain the Den Chief's role in supporting a Den Leader, All Den Leaders are STRONGLY encouraged to attend this valuable learning experience.  Den Leaders would benefit from the event by obtaining a better understanding about how to utilize Den Chiefs in den operations. 

Two sessions will be offered. 

In Person Session - September 13, 2025 at Beaumont Scout Reservation (Sverdrup Building)
           9am until Noon

Virtual session - October 25, 2025
          9am until Noon

Scouts should plan to have their videos on for the duration of the session so that Instructors can ensure their participation and engagement. Instructors have the discretion to determine if a Scout completed the requirements based on their engagement during the session.
Class materials will be mailed 1 week prior of the class date.

Fees:  $20.00 for scouts, varied pricing for adults.

A Certificate of Completion will be emailed as the training is recorded in the Council's records.
