Descriptions of Each Class

Sky Is the Limit (Tiger): Scouts will learn about astronomy through exploriation of the constellations, stars, and the night sky. Scouts will discover why we see the stars as we do, why constellations have been named, and even have the opportunity to build their own constellation! Tigers will mostly complete this adventure loop, with a remaining at-home activity that parents and scouts can complete at their convenience.  Requirements 1 & 8.

Motor Away (Wolf): Scouts will investigate the engineering behind airplanes, boats, and cars. They will have the opportunity to build and test their own constructions, predict the outcomes, and use their engineering skills to build the fastest vehicles. All the requirements for this adventure loop will be completed.

Super Science (Bear)
Scouts will investigate science through hands-on experimentation. They will explore the concepts of electricity, color-mixing, and density while earning their super science loop. This is bound to be a STEM-tastic time! All the requirements for this adventure loop will be completed.

Adventures in Science (Webelos)
Scouts will explore science through hands-on activities and experiments. They will have the opportunity to build and fly their own rocket, experiment with chemical reactions, and learn how variables affect experimentation. Completion of this loop includes an at-home component in which Scouts should visit a scientist (at a zoo, laboratory, etc), requirement 2, and ask them 3 questions.

**All registrants will be added to the STEM e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
