2024 Youth Protection Training- Virtual December
Youth Protection Training
Thursday, December 12th, 2024 - 7PM-9PM
(virtual classroom opens at 6:45PM)
True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, territory, area, council, district, and unit levels.
Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers and is a joining requirement. It must be taken every two years. If a volunteer’s Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be re-registered.
Scouting's Greater St. Louis Area Council invites you to join live, virtual Youth Protection training sessions on Zoom. Everyone is welcome, whether you're a member or not.
Please include your BSA ID on the registration form. If you're unsure or don't have one, go ahead and register and let your instructor know.
Training will be logged after you pass the knowledge assessment if you are a registered member. Everyone who passes will receive a training certificate by email.
After you register, please look at the attachment in the tan box on the right side of this page (it will also be sent via email). Use the 'Contact' menu on the right for questions.
Thank you for being so committed to keeping Scouting safe!
