9 am to 12:30 pm  -  with optional activities in the afternoon!

Only $10 for Scouts to register and free for adult chaperones.  

Spots for only the first 50 Scouts and will have a wait list. 

Scouts can get familiar with the requirements HERE.  

For prerequisites, use this BOOKLET to do research and provide answers on requirements 1-4 & 6, also use the booklet for req. 5 to record 4 of the 7 options you choose on the sports to improve on (though there are 9 options, UMSL will help you on the ones listed below in the schedule).    Initial recording should start in early August and you will be tested on October 25th for improvement.   Bring your completed booklet wtih you!

SCHEDULE 

8:30am – 9am – check in at the center / UMSL swag bag

9am – 9:30am – chat with student athletes (warm ups/healthy habits/diet - review badge booklets)

9:30am – 12:30pm – activities (Scouts will go to the 4 options from the ones they chose with the badge)

Sprinting

Pull-ups and pushups

Baseball throw

Basketball shooting

Soccer kick

Weight training

Swimming (Last activity at Noon) - for everyone if you bring a swim suit  :)

Optional activities after the workshop with UMSL staff help:  

12:30pm – 1:30pm – lunch (bring own lunch or money for dining hall – around $13-20) 

1:30pm – 3pm – optional campus tour (driving)

2pm - Swim meet (Scout and 2 guests free)

3pm – Volleyball game (Scout and 2 guests free) - Scouts who complete merit badge will get recognized at half-time!

Blue cards will be record digitally and instructions sent out after the workshop. 

Scouts need to be in the care of a responsible adult while on campus.
