Join the Venturing and Sea Scout Officers Association and the Swift Staff for an exciting weekend.

We’ll be starting off the Swift Base season in style. Saturday join us as we help to improve the Swift Base and setup some of the programs for the summer. Some of the items we’ll be doing include:

• New Mountain Boarding Course
• Some basic carpentry repairs on the Lodge and Council Ring Benches, screen repair on the porch
• Painting of Latrines
• Repair of Tent Frames
• Improved Mountain Bike Trails
• Sailboat Setup and Repair
• Corral Improvements

Then after putting in some amazing projects, its time to try out some of the fun we’ve setup. Mountain boards, waterfront,  boats, games, sports and more will all be available. Saturday night will be a potluck dinner, with some great evening fun planned too.

Sunday, weather permitting Rock Climbing and Rappelling will be open for your unit.

Some limited Swift tents will be available for your unit to use. Bring your own food and join in the fun.

Tools Needed:

• A lot: Earth moving stuff (trail building)-- Loppers, Shovels (garden and spade), garden rakes, leaf rakes, Bow Saw, Mattock (pick axe), gloves
• Some: Carpentry tools--Circular saw, drill, Ratchets
• Some: Painting tools -- Brushes, Roller handles, Roller covers
• A few: Chainsaws (BSA training required to operate)
