Scouts can pick between indoor sessions only, one of the outdoor sessions or both. To earn the Snow Sports Merit Badge a scout must do both sessions. A scout could earn a partial by completing one or the other sessions now.

Indoor session: February 24th, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Beaumont Emerson Red, Blue, Green rooms lower level of Emerson

***** Scouts will need to bring a Sack lunch & Refillable water bottle 

******Note: scouts leaders and families are responsible for transporting scouts from Beaumont to Hidden Valley at 2:45 (17409 Hidden Valley Dr, Eureka, MO 63025) https://www.hiddenvalleyski.com/

On-Snow sessions options (pick one): February 24th 3:30-to 5:30pm OR February 25th 3:30 to 5:30 OR March 1st 3:30 to 5:30

*****Note: lessons are not available for snowboarders during these sessions. To earn the snow sports merit badge as a snowboarder the scout would need to have prior snowboarding experience and skills.

******Note: The Guide to Safe Scouting requires the use of helmets for downhill skiing and snowboarding. So anyone doing the on-snow requirements will need to have or rent a helmet

• Hidden Valley will build orders for the Scouts, and send a Release of Liability Packet to all parents via Docusign
• Troop Leaders or Families are responsible for collecting and ensuring all documents are signed and returned to Hidden Valley https://www.hiddenvalleyski.com/
• Troop Leaders or Families will collect packets from Hidden Valley upon Arrival. We will meet on the Snow at 3:30 

Scouts will have two hours to complete the lesson and or the On snow requirements. At 5:30 scouts are free to keep ski/snowboarding on their own with their troop or families.
