STEM on CAMPus SEMO

***All Scouts & Adults will have a bedroom to themselves and may share a restroom with one other participant. (Suite - style dorm room )

Check-in for the camp participants will be Sunday, June 6th in the evening and check-out will be Wednesday night, June 9th. There will be 6 program sessions to work on merit badges or NOVA awards. Extracurricular fun will happen each evening – Ropes Course, team building games, inflatables, pool, ziplines, etc. Campus dorm living for 3 cool nights and 8 great meals.   

$195 per Scout / $100 per adult leader.  Scouts can come with their Troop or be a part of a provisional one.   Registration will be open until 2 weeks before camp starts.  There is no discount rate for this special camp.  

University faculty and staff will be present to help facilitate the activities associated with STEM Merit Badges and Nova Awards. Our camp goal is to match volunteers with their area of interest and expertise to provide these potential badge offerings:

Once registered and classes are chosen, those badge/NOVA assignments are locked in. Review prereqs in the document available in the attachments box on this page. We encourage Scouts to work on their NOVA awards.

We hope this camp will not only help instill an appreciation for the STEM fields, but also create professional connections for these youth. Don’t miss this new experience at Southeast!
