Join us for a three-part educational series hosted at the Bank of Old Monroe, designed to help participants complete their Banking & Finance merit badge requirements through hands-on learning with local financial experts.

SCOUTS MUST BRING PHYSICAL BLUE CARD WITH THEM TO EACH SESSION

PREREQUISITES: Scouts must have completed requirements 2a through 2d to participate. 

Session 1 — October 17 | 10:00–11:00 a.m.
Tour of the bank, followed by a discussion with Bank Teller Riley Eads on deposits, checks, and everyday banking transactions.

Session 2 — November 14 | 10:00–11:00 a.m.
A session with Loan Officers Dalton Gilbert and Jenni Linton covering loans, interest rates, APR, and mortgages.

Session 3 — December 12 | 10:00–11:00 a.m.
Investment fundamentals with Paul Edwards, covering common stocks, mutual funds, and more — followed by a group photo and merit badge completion celebration.
