Mining in Society Merit Badge at US Silica

We are delighted to share a wonderful new opportunity for our Scouts, the Mining in Society Merit Badge clinic, sponsored and hosted by US Silica in Pacific MO. The event will start promptly at 8am on Saturday November 8th, and run through about noon, to be followed by lunch, provided by US Silica.
This event is for Scouts in 6th grade and up, and to ensure the best experience for Scouts, the event will be capped at the first 30 Scouts to register.
There are no prerequisites and there is no cost to attend, but preregistration is required.
The day's agenda will start with a meet and greet, followed by a safety talk, a presentation, a tour, activities/games, and close with environmental discussions.
