Exploring Career Speakers Series

The Greater St. Louis Area Exploring Program is excited to offer young adults ages 14-20 the opportunity to virtually meet and network with professionals from a varitey of career fields.  What education or training do you need for this career?  What does a typical day look like?  What do you like most about your job?    These are just a few examples of what you might learn in the career workshops.  The workships are free and you may attend as many as you like.    Please check back often as our speakers list gets updated.

Wednesday, March 10th-Wide World of Sports Careers
Featuring:   Jane Stllman, Athletic Director at Champagne Central High School; Todd Monken, Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at University of Georgia and former NFL Coach;   Dean Bryan, Co-Owner/Director of Sports Medicine at The Grind Fitness and Sports Performance; and Nicholas Powell, CEO of the The Mind Game and sports psychologist  

Wednesday, March 24th- Working with Animals Careers
Featuring:  Jeff DeVeydt, Zookeeper at Fort Worth Zoo, Humane Society representative, Veterinarian, and others 

Wednesday, April 7th- First Responders Careers

Wednesday, April 14th-Meet the CEO's of companies in St. Louis
Featuring:  Craig Unruh, President of AT&T MIssouri; Jim Morgan, CEO of Subsurface Contractors, Inc. and others 

Wedneday, April 28th-Careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Wednesday, May 12th -No College required-careers not requiring at college degree
