Citizenship in Society Merit Badge Workshop

This is a workshop for scouts to earn the Citizeship in Society merit badge. 
This badge is eagle required beginning July 1, 2022. 

Location: Beaumont Scout Reservation - Emerson Dining Hall
Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Cost:: $5.00
Limited seating

Scouts will be divided into small groups based on age and group size.

PARENTS – please note many of the requirements ask for your assist ( 7 & 8)

Prerequisites:
Group - All requirements EXCEPT 4 & 6, should be done prior to meeting

Remember this merit badge is unique in the fact that it does not have a merit badge book/pamphlet.  The merit badge will require the scout, with the support of their parents/guardians to research various things activities and events THE SCOUT find of interest and importance.  Because of this there may be the chance that there will be topics that might create a difference of opinions.  This is 100% ok and expected.  But as such I feel it is important that everyone understand the ground rules and expectations prior to our first meeting.  At any time if the scouts or parents have questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

•“Document” can mean write or record via voice or video
