Woodwork Merit Badge Overview: Wood is an amazingly versatile, practical, yet beautiful material. A skilled craftsman can use wood to fashion just about anything. As a woodworker or carpenter, you will find no end of useful, valuable, and fun items you can make yourself, from wood.

Mid America Carpenters Regional Council Apprentice & Training Program St. Louis Campus is sponsoring the event, hosting at their facility in St. Louis county. Scouts will be able to complete the merit badge while working with the experts in the facility with all the tools.
- Parents and unit leaders are welcome and encouraged to attend and learn and assist.
- For safety, all participants must wear long pants, closed-toed shoes (no sandals, crocs, etc.), and a shirt with sleeves down to elbows. All other safety equipment will be provided.
- Event registration will close when class is full, or one week out (4/5), whichever is sooner.
- Event will be held at main office, 8300 Valcour, Saint Louis, MO 63123-2332. Park in the lower lot and enter in Door 4.
