NRA Rifle Instructor Training Weekend

January 4 - 5, 2025 at Camp Warren Levis

This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. All firearms and ammunition will be provided for this course.

Students must attend both days of the course.  The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course, Basic Instructor Training Course, and NRA Instructor Rifle Shooting Course will all be covered during the weekend.   

The course will be held in Swaim Lodge at Camp Warren Levis.  Lunch will be provided on both days.

Cost:  $145

There is a credentialing fee with the NRA required for a 2-year term (NRA Membership is NOT required)
