NRA Pistol Instructor Training Weekend

December 6 - 8, 2024 at Beaumont Scout Reservation

This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, sitting, and standing positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. All firearms and ammunition will be provided for this course.

Students must attend all three days of the course.  The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course, Basic Instructor Training Course, and NRA Instructor Pistol Shooting Course will all be covered during the weekend.  

The course will be held in the Nagel Rec Hall at Beaumont.  Meals will be provided on Saturday & Sunday days.

Cost:  $175

There is a credentialing fee with the NRA required for a 2-year term (NRA Membership is NOT required)
