We have a cool opportunity to join us at the Drone Experience!   And earn the new DRONE EXPLORATION patch!

With the help of Seiler Instruments, we are conducting a drone education session for up to 20 Scouts BSA youth (NO CUBS), ages 11-17, on:  Saturday May 18th from 9 A.M.-12 P.M.   It will be at Beaumont Scout Reservation - Cub World Building.

Just $12 per Scout.   Free for chaperone adults.

Scouts will be covering:

The FAA now requires  ALL  recreational pilots to pass an online course called TRUST,  Take it here!  It is very easy to do and only 5-10 minutes!   Please bring the certificate with you.  Thanks!

 Drone Technology and Applications Overview

Review of Professional Drone Options - Seiler is bringing their Enterprise lineup of drone technology!

Prep and Fly - Scouts will be partnered up for safe flying purposes.  Up to 30 minutes of flight time!

 Review of Data Results

There will be 2-3 Drone pilots there to provide instruction.   We will supply the DJI drones to fly from our STEM inventory.

The session will start at the First Cub World Pavillion for about 45 minutes on the history on drones, how they are built, their use in recreation and industry, careers, and then letting the Scouts fly.

Scouts should be in the care of an adult during the session.  Bring a camp chair for comfort or sitting in the grass, and prepare for a sunny day.  In the case of inclement weather, the event may be cancelled.

First come, first served - so make your registration.  Don't miss this great opportunity to learn about this cool tech and enjoy the resources of our STEM program!
