CPR/AED/Wilderness and Remote First Aid
April 12-14, 2024
Times: Friday 7pm-10pm, Saturday 9am - 5:30pm, Sunday 9am - 1pm (must attend all 3 sessions)
Location: Beaumont Scout Reservation, Sverdrup Lodge
Wilderness and Remote First Aid class will be conducted April 12 -14 2024 in Sverdrup Lodge. Completion of this course meets Wilderness First Aid requirements for BSA High Adventure bases.
The CPR/AED prerequisite will be a Blended Learning format.
Prerequisite Adult CPR/AED if a participant has a current card, must bring it on Friday
**If you need to complete the CPR/AED course, the online portion will be sent via email and the completion certificate must be brought on Friday and 6 pm for the hands-on portion of the training.
CPR/AED Skills Session Training will begin at 7p - 10p on Friday. WRFA will run from 9:00a to 5:30p Saturday April 13 and from 9:00a to 1:00p Sunday April 14. Participants must be present for all 3 sessions. Participants should bring the first-aid kit that they plan on taking on their trek, notebook, pencil or pen, coffee cup, water bottle, lunch for Saturday, and snacks if needed.
