2023 Scout Fishing Day @ S-F
Saturday, April 29th
Check-in: 9:00am
Check-out: 4:00pm

Upon arrival at S-F, proceed to the boat ramp at Swift High Adventure Base.  Remember to bring your own lunch and refillable water bottle!

Webelos, Scouts BSA, and Venturers are invited to come enjoy a day of fishing on Nims Lake.  Personal boats are permitted as long as trolling motors ONLY are used on the lake. Council canoes or rowboats will be available for use if requested.  Everyone in a boat must be classified as a Swimmer according to the guidelines of the Boy Scouts of America and wear a PFD. You will also need to have completed Parts A and B of the Annual Health and Medical Form if you are going to be in a boat. 

Worms, Crickets, Plastics and Crank Baits allowed no live minnows permitted.

Boats must have  Scout and 1 Scouter (21+) or 1 Scout and 1 Adult (21+)

Valid state fishing permit is required for those between the ages of 16–65 wanting to fish on Greater St. Louis Area Council properties. You can purchase permits online at:
