2023 Central Illinois Pinewood Derby Race

Whether you are 6 years old or 50, we have a chance for you to race your customized derby car! Come out for some friendly (hopefully!) competition, enjoy socializing and fun activties - all while supporting a local non-profit!

Pinewood Derby Kits can be purchased at the Decatur Scout Office downtown Decatur (262 W Prairie Ave). Rules for cars are attached on this page. T-Shirts for sale for $15, proof attached. A limited availability of cars (ready to race) will be available to rent at the event the day of. Contact Shiowa Karsten with any questions! 

Divisions:

Pack Derby Winners - Top 3 Scouts from Arrowhead pack derby races. Compete to determine the Top 3 winners of the whole district!

Cubs Race - Any kid in grades Kindergarten to 5th grade can compete (even those participting in the Pack Derby race above).

Outlaw Division - Anyone 18+

Corporate Car Race - If your business would like to compete against other businesses, please contact Shiowa Karsten.
