2026 Piasa Bird/Cahokia Mounds Winter Klondike

The Klondike Derby is a competitive event where teams pull sleds between various stations and perform team tasks at each. Teams are graded on Scouting Skills and Scout Spirit at stations during the event. The Klondike competition is a day event and includes camping both on Friday and Saturday nights as part of your registration. Event Packet has the details for the competition and event. All Scout BSA Troops & Crews and Arrow of Light members (AOL’s) are welcome to join a troop for the weekend.
When: January 16, 17, & 18th.
Where: Camp Warren Levis – Godfrey, IL
Cost: $15 per person both youth and adults (two-deep leadership).

Upon arrival, the Adult Leader will:
- Confirm the number of patrols
- Confirm the number of participating Scouts and Leaders
- Pay any outstanding fees
- Turn in unit rosters
Adults and Staff will have hot lunch provided in the dinning hall from 12:00-1:00pm in the dinning hall. Scouts will be cooking lunch as part of the Klondike, with a special award for the best meal.
Units choosing to overnight in camp lodging are to contact Yukon Jack. Space is limited and is first come, first serve, so please call/text early to secure your spot.
Head Count due by January 5, 2026 to ensure patch delivery at event. If you do not have enough Scouts for a team, contact Klondike Pete to be merged with a team that has space. We can also provide sleds.
