Check-in will begin at the main gate at 5:00PM on Friday night and will close at 9:00PM. Due to the event program, camping is restricted to ASSIGNED AREAS and campsites will be assigned by Chapter at check-in. 

As of January 1st, 2021 BSA Health Form Parts A&B are required for all attendees, including event staff, and must be presented at check-in.

Anpetu-We Lodge requires attendees of lodge events to be current members of the BSA, dues paid members of the lodge, and all adults 18+ must have valid Youth Protection Training certifications at the time of the event.  

All policies of the Boy Scouts of America and the Greater St Louis Area Council will be followed, including any specific to this camp property.

ORDEAL CANDIDATES

Please arrive NO LATER THAN 6:00PM on Friday evening. An important part of the Ordeal experience is to "sleep alone beneath the stars" which will occur on Friday night. Springtime weather can be unpredictable, be aware of the forecast and pack accordingly. Make sure your gear is packed in a backpack, weather-proofed, and easily carried. Bring with you the following items: FULL waterbottle, your carved arrow, appropriate work clothes, shoes and gloves for Saturday, your Class A Field Uniform (no merit badge sashes), rain gear, tarp or ground cloth, sleeping bag, personal items (toothbrush, soap, deodorant, etc), towel, change of clothes, flashlight, and spending money for the lodge trading post.  Coordinate with members of your home unit for tentage following the completion of your Ordeal.
